Do you want to celebrate a prized fish that you caught with an artistic method that is an alternative to traditional Western Taxidermy?
Immortalize that trophy with Gyotaku , or Japanese fish printing!
Is there a favorite species of fish that you would like see in an artistic Gyotaku composition of your own concept? Stormtree Studio can accommodate your wish with either Chokosetsu-ho (Direct printing) or Kansusetsu-ho (Indirect printing) Gyotaku.
Would you like a nature print , or even a more exquisitely detailed Pen and Ink original piece, for adorning your living space or for that perfect gift?
Stephen Di Cerbo accepts a limited number of Commissions at any given time.
Here’s how it works:
Contact Stormtree Studio to express your interest in commissioning a piece.
After expressing what you would like, and a mutual understanding of the goal is reached, a price is agreed upon.
A 25% non refundable deposit for the piece is required to obtain needed materials and provide for initial concept sketches and details.
Once these are approved, another 25 % is required to begin the commission.
Upon completion of the commissioned artwork, and with satisfaction of the results, the balance is due.
Unless part of the original agreement, there is no requirement to purchase the final piece or to pay the balance.
Although the customer commissions and owns the original work, all copyrights remain with the artist, unless a Copyrights transfer agreement is also reached in conjunction with the commission agreement.
